Job Description:

1. Keep prospective client database updated.

 2. Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company.

 3. Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers, submission of tenders, etc. 

4. To develop and execute sales strategy for the Mumbai Region markets that ensures attainment of individual as well as company sales goals and profitability.

 5. To maintain the relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, recommending new opportunities and service improvements

. 6. To identify product improvements or new products by remaining present on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. 

7. Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.

 8. Respond to incoming email and phone inquiries.

 9. Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets. 

10. Negotiating on price, terms, delivery, and specifications with buyers and closing the sales.

 11. Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations. 

12. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. 

13. Attending team meetings and sharing best practices with colleagues.

 14. Handling existing and developing new clients for business growth. 

15. Responsible for sales and marketing of all products of the Company. 

16. Solving technical and commercial issues of the clients with the coordination of the internal team.

17. Seek forecasting from customers for future orders.

 18. To provide after-sales support for customers by coordination between different functions within the Company.

 19. Collect market intelligence and competitors’ activities and gather market and customer information

 20. Coordinate with HOD to ensure timely order processing and dispatch of ‘ZERO’ defective products. 

21. Ensure systems and processes are in place and complied with.

 22. Payment follow-ups & clearing outstanding payment Skills: Must possess strong customer service skills.

 Strong communication skills – including both verbal and written Must be able to create good presentations. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be detail-oriented and an active listener. Ability to work under pressure. Self-motivated and driven by targets The ability to influence and negotiate with others Commercial awareness IT skills Numerical skills
