Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Head to lead our Medical Device division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring operational excellence within the Medical Device unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the Medical Device division aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to the team, fostering innovation and a customer-centric approach.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the Medical Device business.
Market Analysis and Trends:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify areas for business expansion and improvement.
Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the Medical Device division.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare providers, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and responsiveness.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all Medical Device operations comply with relevant regulatory standards and requirements.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for the Medical Device division, ensuring cost-effective operations and optimal resource allocation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other business units and departments to drive synergies, particularly with R&D, Marketing, and Operations.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success and effectiveness of business strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of leadership in the medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior management role in the medical device sector.
