Medication Administration:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation of medication administration and patient response.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing their concerns and providing emotional support.
Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Follow documentation standards and procedures.
Adherence to Protocols:
- Adhere to infection control policies and other healthcare regulations.
- Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and promote a secure environment.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with nursing trends, practices, and continuing education requirements.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution.
- State nursing license and registration.
- Proven experience as a GNM nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
