Job Description:

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Hospital Manager for our Animal Hospitals situated in

across Maharashtra.

Responsibilities:

 Supervise daily Animal Birth Control Activities

 Monitor expenses and suggest cost-effective alternatives.

 Create quarterly and annual budgets

 Develop and implement effective policies for Animal Birth Control Activates

 Managing Team Members including Animal Handlers, Veterinary Doctors etc. for

the smooth functioning of the Animal Birth Control Programme

 Managing Records related to the Animal Birth Control Programme

 Coordination with Animal Lovers and animal Caregivers about effective implementation

of ABC Programme.

 Conducting awareness programmes for redacting Human-Animal Conflicts.

 Responsible for achieving monthly targets related to the Animal Birth Control Programme.

 Supervise daily administrative operations

 Monitor expenses and suggest cost-effective alternatives

 Create quarterly and annual budgets

 Develop and implement effective policies for all operational procedures

 Prepare work schedules

 Maintain organized medical and employee records

 Monitor administrative staff’s performance

 Train new employees

 Ensure prompt ordering and stocking of medical and office supplies

 Answer queries from doctors, para-vets and healthcare staff

 Resolve potential issues with patients

 Stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations

 Diagnose animal health problems

 Responsible for maintaining medicine records in terms of usage and maintaining stock of

expired medicines and new medicines with the help of team members.

 Responsible for maintaining stock of Gas Anaesthesia machines and oxygen in the hospital and

ambulance with the help of team members.

 Compiling and preparing reports of Diagnostic Centres like ECG, Citi Scan, X-Ray, etc.

 Co-ordinate with the diagnosis centre in charge to get the reports of examinations for further

treatment.

 Doing treatment of hospitalized animals with the help of internal or empanelled doctors.

 Organizing and maintaining records of the sterilisation of animals with the help of the team

members.

 Maintaining records of OPD and IPD treatment with the help of team members.  Vaccinates against diseases, such as distemper and rabies with the help of team

members.

 Doing follow-up and maintaining records regarding disposal of the carcass of dead bodies of

in-house animals.

 Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties.

 Other duties an required for the smooth operations of animal hospitals.

Requirements:

 Must be an Animal Lover

 Bachelors/Masters in any stream

 Ability to read and interpret laws related to the Animal Birth Control Programme

 Ability to solve practical problems.

 To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of

Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook Express

 Confident and energetic personality

 Strong organizational, communications and sales skills

 Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task; work with minimal supervision

 Reliable and flexible to Resort needs
