Job description would typically involve the following responsibilities and duties: Diagnosis: Neurologists examine patients and take detailed medical histories to diagnose neurological conditions. Performing physical examinations, analyze symptoms, and order diagnostic tests such as CT scans, MRI scans, EEG (electroencephalography), and EMG (electromyography). Treatment: Neurologists develop treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders. prescribing medications, recommend rehabilitative therapies, and may also perform minor procedures like nerve conduction studies or Botox injections for specific conditions. Consultations: Neurologists collaborate with other medical specialists, such as neurosurgeons, radiologists, and physiotherapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Offering consultations and expert opinions on complex cases. Patient Management: Neurologists monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing care for chronic neurological conditions.
