We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our medical equipment sales team.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the medical equipment division.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business expansion.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare institutions, and distributors.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their medical equipment needs.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in medical equipment.
- Ensure that the sales team is well-trained on the features and benefits of the company's product portfolio.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates for senior management.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Budget Management:
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the sales budget for the medical equipment division.
- Ensure that sales activities are aligned with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide input to product development teams based on market feedback and customer requirements.
Compliance:
- Ensure that all sales activities and practices comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in medical equipment sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
